Anushka Singh is an Bollywood actress. She is acclaimed for her acting and as one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood. Anushka Sharma's parents were Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Her father is a Colonel (retd.) His mother is household worker. Anushka's first time as a model for fashion was in the year 2017, when she walked with Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week, and then was chosen by Rodricks to be a model at his spring-summer 2007 collection. Anushka, since making her Lakme Fashion Week modelling debut has appeared in commercials for companies like Fiat Palio Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka started auditioning films and joined an acting academy along with her professional career as models. Anushka made her debut as an actor in 2008 with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. To prepare herself for the screen-test, Anushka Sharma took all day. Later, she signed up to film three times in collaboration with Yash Raj Films. She played a role as the bride, who was young and tied to a man of middle aged (the role that Shah Rukh Khan was portraying). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka appeared along with Shahid Kapoor and Vi Das Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The movie received mixed praises. Anushka was in a movie named Band Baaja Baaraat, starring Ranveer in which she portrayed a Punjabi-American girl of middle-class who starts her own wedding-planning company. The film was praised by critics and was deemed to be a surprise success. The Band Baaja Baaraat anushka's three-film agreement under the Yash Raj Films banner was completed.
